Fall review

In general, the spring fall shows us clearly about the story and each of the character’s characteristic are appearantly. The acting of Iran is so impressive because I like the way how he expresses his character and kinds of adding some comedic into the play to attract the audience. I pretty like the acting between him and Mao. They show how their relationships change by which way and expresses the emotion well. Appeartly, the last scene is so impressive to me that the man finally recognized his identity. And he found out that he is the brother of Ivan’s character, which is so dramatic because they have been friends for such a long time. 

The story shows mainly about two couples about how they meet with each other and finally get permission from the girl’s mother to get engaged. The whole play is so attractive because there are lots of comedic part, which makes me laugh a lot. I think the way how Iran expresses his character by using lots of exaggerate body language and fiscal exprience. He is fully into her character, who is a rich man and doesn’t really be serious in some ways. When he had some suprised facial expressions, he opens his mouth for servers seconds and his tone also kinds of exaggerate the emotion, which makes the character attract the audience a lot. The relationship between him and Mao’s character is also so interesting. At first, Mao is being so ignored about him and she really shows about her characteristic that she is confidence and ingnorance about others. The way she talks always loudly and confidencely. The way of her walking and rasing her chain when she talks with others shows her characteristic a lot. I like the connection between the actors and actress. They really brings me to the stories by using their emotions. They let me recognize that they are really into the character on the stage. During the play, they are 2-3 musicals, which connects the plots together. And the first scene is basically showing the background and the next scene starts to show their stories between each other. However, from my perspective, they can add more musical background when there’s a comedic or argue with different melody, which could strength the emotions. And sometimes, I couldn’t really understand what they are saying because I think I sat too far from the stage. Maybe they could have more movements on the stage. And maybe there are some lights focus on one person when the person is talking some important information. For example, when the man recognized his identity, the lights focus on him and adds more exciting background music to show his emotion and he is talking his monologue, something like that. 

In general, I leant a lot about how the actors copperate together to show the scene from the play.
