Caroline’s wedding

The story begins as the narrator named “Grace” who gets the American identity. And her mother reminds her to get a passport. So she obey the reminders and post her materials to the government. The family are worrying abou their materials because of Hermine has been arrested in a jail because of the immigration. The family includes another girl whose name is Caroline. The complication starts as Caroline’s wedding. Hermine wants her to marry with Haiti man. However, Caroline complaints about Hermine because she thinks she control too much of her life. When Hermine had a cobersation about the Caroline’s marriage. She reminds her dead husband marriage. Later, the story connects with the children in the sea about talking a girl named Cerliena. They attend her pary for her. Cerlinea suszsize because she couldn’t save her child. Which kinds of showing the ending of the children in the sea. When  Caroline complains her wedding with Eric because they just took the wedding by a small ceremony. And it kinds of shows her mother doesn’t really agree with the wedding. Carolines’ dream of her father brings girls remind her father. It’s also kinds of showing their superistion because of the dream. They start to say some Haiti saying because of their dreams about their father after he died.

A dog has dead The whole poem includes 8 stanzas. It starts with “buried” and ends as “buried” as well, which is a kinds of bending and coherence to echo ending. The peom is more telling the audience a story, and there’s no obsoute rhythm exists. Reading notes kira

The stories starts with a man who writes letters to his beloved. There are 36 people at the boat. The man is really shy and he is memorizing his childhood. (There is so many details to describe.) it also talks about his lover and his lover’s father refused her to marry with home because “a solder almost are not human” . Then, back to Haiti, in the girl’s house, it shows his lover’s life.
