Haiku online
Yosa Buson (1716-1784), a haiku master poet and painter:
A summer river being crossed
how pleasing
with sandals in my hands!
how pleasing
with sandals in my hands!
Light of the moon
Moves west, flowers' shadows
Creep eastward.
Moves west, flowers' shadows
Creep eastward.
In the moonlight,
The color and scent of the wisteria
Seems far away.
The color and scent of the wisteria
Seems far away.
I like it flow and it describes a imagine in my mind about summer, which impresses me a lot.
Birds
In the trees chirping,
They carry music and joy
Wherever they go.
I like the last one “wherever they go” Also, in the peom, it doesn’t even mention “birds.” However, it leads a feeling of birds standing in the tree and singing.
