class activity yesterday

 I was in the group 3 which has 30 seconds to perform the Romeo and Juliet. We chose the ending of the whole story because we think it is the best part for us to explain the love between Romeo and Juliet. Also, the death and hatred happen among them. At the end of the performance, all people die.

Comparing the activities among all three groups, all of us has some common points such as death, love, confliction, and tragedy. Since I think it is the main part of the story that Shakespeare wants to explain. However, there is also some difference between the plots and highlight plots. For example, in our activities, we highlighted the death and love. The consequence of their love is death. However, the performance in the first group, they show not only love but also confliction.

The form of the first group is like mime which has no scripts for roles. it is clearer for the audience to know what is happening. Moreover, the player does not need to think about the scripts and get nervous since they do not need to say any words. they use their actions to explain the plots. However, it is negative for performers to explain their emotion. Moreover, they should use exaggerating actions to explain the actions.

The second group was kinds of messed up since there was one person who performed two roles. As a result, sometimes I could not distinguish who she performed.
